Junwei Du
Junwei Du, senior quantitative investment analyst, with twelve years of investment experience in finance develops various financial models for LCM including detailed attribution models, which assist the investment team in effectively managing client portfolios and allocating capital appropriately.
Prior to joining LCM, he was an investment analyst at Shihua International Financial Information Co. Ltd. in Beijing China, as well as an analyst at Great Wall Securities Ltd. He started working in the financial industry right after China opened its stock market in the early 1990’s. He has published three investment research articles on a prestigious financial magazine at the age of 22.
Mr. Du has a strong technology background with hands on experience of programming using object oriented languages. He is also an expert on web and graphic design. Also, Junwei is proficient in HTML, CSS, PHP and Flash. One of the websites he developed ranked among top 3 in the Culture category in China.
He earned a Master’s in Business Administration Degree with dual concentration in Finance and Information Technology from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.
