Robert Levitt is the Founder, Managing Member, Chief Investment Officer, Global Strategist and Portfolio Manager at Levitt Capital Management and is responsible for the firm’s strategic vision, research and trading decisions.
With intellectual independence, Robert brings vision to developing global themes and understanding their implications in a macroeconomic world. He has as uncommon ability to solicit information from corporate management, analysts, government officials and “the man on the street”. His approach to idea development involves immersion into various countries, absorbing language, literature and integration with the local masses. The multi-lingual Levitt splits residing between developed Europe and emerging SE Asia. While traveling extensively throughout the world, he has a strong competency in practical knowledge.
Mr. Levitt is often a guest on major financial television networks around the world. He has appeared countless times on CNBC and Bloomberg TV in the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Africa. He has been profiled in Barron’s and frequently quoted in premier publications, such as The Wall Street Journal and Business Week.
In 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011, Mr. Levitt made the Barron’s List of Top 100 Independent Financial Advisors in the US. He has been a nine time recipient of the prestigious Worth List of Top 250 Wealth Advisors in the U.S. award.
Mr. Levitt earned a Master’s of Business Administration from The American University and a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of New Mexico. He also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst Designation.
